What are these patches in the updates repo with names like “openSUSE-2012-172” or “openSUSE-2012-184?” Is this a new convention? How can I get the details in zypper?

Thanks. I hope this isn’t a change, I don’t want to query each patch to find out what I’m installing.

zypper lp
should describe
No, it doesn’t. It just displays the cryptic names along with category and status. This is going to be a pain to sort out.

And wants to update things that I changed vendor :-/

It shows the descriptions what it is in 12.1 with the “zypper lp” but
not in 11.4, maybe worth a feature request to have that in 11.4 as well.

I locked flash + it’s kde4 partner
I don’t have any trouble with it trying to update.
