New Linux Distribution Quiz

Check out this new Linux Distro Quiz! LinuxQuiz

Fun little quiz. It said I should try gentoo or CentOS. Not in any hurry to learn another system but gentoo would be one I’d consider seriously. CentOS less so.

Said I should try openSUSE or CentOS at first but then I changed rpm
install to any and it just gave me CentOS alone. Is a pattern emerging?

That quiz seems to suggest CentOS often, I get Mageia - openSUSE -CentOS
(The first two despite the order are a good match for my preferences,
CentOS not).
If I change the rpm/deb question to “does not matter” I get Slackware
and Arch Linux, I am a bit surprised that there is no overlap at all
with the first.

All in all it is funny.

When I took the quiz it said I should try Mandriva (which I was using Mandrake before I came to SuSE), Gentoo (which I have tried), and CentOS (haven’t tried that one yet). Guess the quiz isn’t quite perfect. I do kinda like Gentoo. I suppose it’d be a toss up between Gentoo, Sabayon Linux and Mandriva (or whatever it’s called now), if I couldn’t do openSUSE.

Okay, this is rigged. CentOS for me, too.

I’ll shoot an e-mail to them to tell them about the CentOS issue.
