Hi, I have been searching for a laptop lately, and came across this one. My budget is 400 and under roughly. Also, I am a big gamer for stuff like EVE online, and minecraft. It should be able to run OpenSUSE Gnome easily too?

It does not look like that laptop meets the system requirements for Minecraft. From their site:
Recommended Requirements :
CPU : Pentium Dual-Core or AMD Athlon 64 @1.6GHz
RAM : 1GB
GPU : GeForce FX or ATI Radeon 9xxx and Up with OpenGL 2 Support (Excluding Intergrated Chipsets)
HDD : 150MB
The processor clock speed is too slow for the game.

Also: I’ve been told that recertified products on NewEgg are great, because they are exactly like new, but have been quality tested to meet high standards, while heavily discounted.

Hey, look ASUS products, choose it for game performance, i think also can run on opensuse smoothly
It will play minecraft fine. My son plays on a netbook with a 1 GHz Atom, works OK. Not at max settings, but better than “good enough”.
