I intend to bye a new laptop on which I want to install Tumbleweed. The laptop should have the following features:
- 13.3" screen with a high resolution
- 16 GB RAM
- 500 GB SSD
- min 5 hrs of battery life
Which laptop would you recommend?
Thanks for your help
This completely depends on your budget. And whether you know your way around in linux. If that’s of no concern: the Dell XPS13.
I would rather have 2 SSD’s, openSUSE on one, /home on the other.
Hi Infinity-it,
I choose a Lenovo Thinkpad T450s.
It Has 14", I choose the poorest HDD and buyed a Samsung EVO SSD 1TB.
I have 12 MB and ,more than 10 hours of browsing, streaming and office, with the bigger battery.
It is my favorited choice for its durability.
Opensuse Tumbleweed works excelent, but Fedora worked best with the Validity Fingerprint sensor working out of the box.
I made the acquisition from www.Levovo.com/it/it but I recommend from www.Amazon.it
I hope I was helpful for you.
