Hi,
I would like to install suse on my new np770z5e, but I have seen a possible bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-cdimage/+bug/1040557 with other disto like Ubuntu.
It seems to brick the laptop and block it into a black screen. The cause seems a samsung-laptop module.
Could this affecting also suse ?

First off. We would like to welcome you to our openSUSE Forum. As far as we are aware, this has been resolved by the time openSUSE 12.3 has been released. We have many Samsung users with openSUSE 12.3 installed and frequenting our forum.
I would recommend downloading the DVD.
