Hi!
On a Win XP I added an SLED 10 installation. The problem is that the installation didn’t find the built in network card (PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet 168/8111).
It works ok with the WinXP.
How to fix it?
Since I’m a newbie , a detailed step by step will be appreciated.
TIA

Use Yast - Network Devices - Network settings (something like that - this is in opensuse 11)
try and configure
I can tell you. I always use a D-Link pci card, even though I have on-board. Much more reliable.

I was told to type:
For the ‘lspci’ I get:
02:00.0 Ethernet Controller: Realtek Semiconductors co., Ltd. Unknown device 8168 (rev 02).
For the ‘lspci -n’ I get:
Class 0200: 10ec:8168 (rev 02).
Can anyone help me what to do now and how?
TIA
