Bricsys have announced the release of a new Linux Cad Beta. It is an Autocad clone running on Linux - something that we have waited a long time for. Currently running here on Mandriva 2010 Powepack using their Redhat rpm. Initially it spat out a libjpeg 6.2 dependecy problem. Once this was installed, the cad interface sprang to life. This one does not have a menu entry. Run it from the command line. You may like to try it on OpenSuse. I will be when I get back to my Suse box. The Beta is available here. Registration required.
