NetworkManager Documentation

I’m using Suse 11.3, KDE4.
I’ve been searching in vain for documentation on the network manager.

I’m trying to figure out why the same connection appears two times (with the same name) when I click on the tray icon, or at least how to get rid of the duplicate.
I have only one connection set up in Manage Connections.
Hovering the mouse over the icon to the left extra connection causes nothing to display.

Selecting “Manage Connections…” then pressing “help” button brings up KDE Help Center with a useless “There is no documentation available for /index.html.”.

It would be helpful to me if somebody could point me to some online docs.

The only way I get duplicate entries is when I have multiple wireless cards
active. Is that your case?

I had something similar occur when I first switched from knetworkmanager to the network management applet. After deleting the entries, and redefining in the applet, things have been ok since.

And…where is the documentation? Release 10.0 had excellent docs while 11.4 has none? On-line searches direct users to the Forum, so where are the docs?

html is in

/usr/share/doc/manual

you can also install the pdf versions with yast (will end up in the same
directory).

Networkmanager is Chapter 35 in the reference guide.

well, maybe you just need a sharper focused on-line search, like:
