Networking problem: "Failed to start VM"

When I attempt to start a VM with a network adapter, I get the following error message:

Error

Failed to start the VM.

Error: Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Could not find bridge, and none was specified.

If I delete the network adapter, then the VM starts fine. I’m running OpenSUSE 12.1 on a 64-bit laptop that is using NetworkManager in KDE4 to connect to a wireless network. To setup the VM, I clicked “Install Hypervisor and Tools” in YaST and let it setup Xen, KVM, and a network bridge. I rebooted into the Xen kernel and then clicked “Create Virtual Machines” in YaST and stuck with all of the defaults.

I apologize if this has been answered before - it seems like it should be a common question, but hours of searching hasn’t turned up anyone doing the same thing that I am.

I think you need traditional networking so that it is setup when the
initialization scripts runs.

Yes, I noticed that indeed, with traditional networking there isn’t a problem. Thank you for your reply!
