Networking broken in KDE in SUSE 12.2 and 12.3

Dear All,
I have been having a problem configuring the wifi connection on my laptop. I have spent hours in KDE and YAST trying to get it to work. I think that networking under KDE with YAST or Network Manager seems to be completely broken.
I can say this with certainty because SUSE 12.3 with the Gnome desktop can be set up to connect with just one click.

Did you read the release notes?

And the FAQ’s?

Yes, there is a bug, but easy to fix.

Dear vodoo,
many thanks for your reply. I have tried the suggestion contained in the release notes, and everything seems to be working fine. I don’t know how I missed that in the release notes.
Once again, many thanks.
