Be sure you aren’t auto-negotiating to something below the network’s

Have hardware (including cabling, uplinks, etc.) that go as fast as you
would like. In the wireless world this means all 802.11n vs. g, b, or a.
Maybe enable jumbo frames in segments that need and can handle larger packets.
Just random idaes; what have you tried? How are you experiencing slowness?

im not really experiencing any slowness, jut wanted to see if there any tweaks that could give me a little extra speed.
from server to desktop pc/vise versa i am getting around 30 megs a sec

in no particular order:
-buy faster networking hardware
-rent or buy a faster network connection
-avoid using slow Domain Name Servers
-cache often used DNS info locally
-disable IPv6
