I have “Traditional method with ifup”.
Is there any network status indicator for ifup? I need it to live in tray like in windows7 and show me the current status with additional info after mouse click
Hi
What desktop are you using? I’m on Gnome and use gkrellm, there is also
conky (requires some configuration).

I forget to say, i use kde.
I tried conky - it is too complcated, i need only network status in tray
theres knemo it should be in the repositories
Thanks
it is exactly what i want
I didn’t find it in repository, but i made it from source.
It is working!
Ups…
I was too hasty. It works, but menu command “Configure knemo” doesn’t. When i press it nothing changes
BTW, i installed knemo into home directory
I found rpm on Index of /repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Community/openSUSE_11.2_KDE_43/x86_64
Now knemo works
knemo is in community
for kde4 you will need to add a repo but first post result of this from a terminal
zypper lr -d
Here it is

Do you want me tidy that mess up for you?
Or can you explain it??
I dont understand. English is not native for me.
You asked me to post result of command. I don’t know for what purpose, but nevertheless i did it.
If you mean it looks bad - yeah, i know, i can’t add attachments (text file of result looks ok) and none of available tags can improve the situation

Change your repos to those
And now add this

Index of /repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Community/openSUSE_11.2_KDE_43
knemo is in this community repo
