my network device is an onboard device… i’ll try with a “real” power off. I now installed windows server 2008 and all worked fine… at the moment i’m rebooting to try linux again

installed windows server 2008 on the same hardware setup just on an other partition…

after shuting down with windows and reboot in linux all works fine… i don’t know what wnidows xp did but now it works…
