Network Printing and Landscape - openSUSE 12.3

Hello,

I have been racking my brain, and for the life of me, I can’t figure this out.

The printer works great, except when I print a landscape document, it actually prints in portrait. This means that most of the document is cut off due to lack of room on the page. This happens when printing from the connected machine, as well as Google Cloud Print.

Which brings me to my second issue: Google Cloud Print. Again, I can print from any device I own with Chrome installed (including my Android devices). But, when I bring up the Google Cloud Print dialog, the Portrait/Landscape page options display only for a moment, then disappear. Therefore, I can only send the document in portrait mode (even though it’s landscape). I assume this is related, but just wanted to mention it.

I will do my best to provide all the relevant information. Let me know if you need more.

Printer:Samsung CLX-3185 (Multifunction)
Connection:IP Socket (Port 9100)
Driversamsung/CLX-3180.ppd.gz (I’m pretty sure it’s the Unified Linux Driver 4.00.39))
Software:openSUSE 12.3 (no missing updates)
cups (1.5.4-5.2.1)

Thanks in advance,

Tithefug
