Network Manager doesn't connect and kde daemon repeatedly asks for password

I recently upgraded from 11.3 to 12.1 using zypper dup. Wireless worked fine in 11.4. It does some funny(frustrating) things in 12.1. It doesn’t connect and repeatedly asks for passwords when I try to connect. It says configuring. Then KDE daemon asks for wallet pw. Then I get asked for network pw in “secrets to NETWORK NAME” window. Then it asks me for wallet pw again. Configures some more. Does the entire loop once or twice more. Pretty sure I’ve typed in my password a few dozen times so far. Any more would be madness.

I’ve read a few similar things but for 11.4, not sure if they apply. In addition I’m a bit late in upgrading so I’m hoping solid solutions have already been found/made.

After installing/uninstalling and clicking around in frustration, it somehow resolved itself. Did the 12.1 team integrate AI that could sense frustration and resolve things to secure self-preservation? Good job 12.1 team.
