Network manager detecting incorrect encryption

Hi!

I use SuSE 10.2 and have been happy with it in the past, only now I am encountering some problems. Namely, that I can connect to a wireless network with WPA encryption once, fine.

However, subsequent attempts to connect, Network Manager insists it is WEP encrypted, which is obviously incorrect, and therefore it doesn’t connect at all.

Searching, I find Ubuntu has a similar problem, but the solution to it doesn’t seem to work here. Help!

Bump!

Still having the same problem as above, it is getting to be a little ridiculous as I can’t fix it. Anyone got any ideas?

What does the command ‘/usr/sbin/iwlist scan’ show?
