Netware Client 2.0 on OpenSUSE 11.0 not enough space

Hi,

I thought I had everything working and I was ready to go into production – NOT! Silly me. I’m not a programmer nor a tech, just an educated user.

OK, after putting in endless hours, I have just about everything working EXCEPT that my drives on my Netware 5.0 server do not allow me to write. I am logging in as the netware administrator (admin) and I have all rights to the server. Yet, when I try to write to the drives from Gnome I get this error: “not enough space on destination”. I know there is enough space, and I get the same error on whatever mapped drive I attempt to write to.

Anyone here Netware savy?

Thanks.

By the way, I can write to and from the network drive using the terminal, so the problem seems to be the interface between Gnome and the Netware client. Hope this helps someone.

Thanks

I have been working on this all day and I have confirmed that the problem is somewhere between the Netware client and Nautilus or Gnome. I found a report of a similar problem using ncpfs and Nautilus, and it is located here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...us/+bug/224760

wondering if someone with more technical knowledge could take a look and let me know if there is an analogy. Sounds like the same or similar problem.

OK, just to let anyone know who may have this in the future, switching from Gnome to KDE solved the problem. I am also advised that switching to Konqueror with GNOME will also work.
