Netflix/CDM/Firefox

Supposedly you can now watch Netflix from firefox, but Adobe CDM is needed.

How do I get Adobe CDM and install it?

I tried accessing Netlix but an error was generated saying the system was missing something.

You might try the Adobe site or if you don’t mind running chromium there
is a plugin available in the repos.

I installed Chrome. I have watched 2 movies from Netflix with it. I looked around Adobe and didn’t see CDM. From what I read, Firefox was supposed to DL and install when you went to a site that required it. Didn’t happen.

I believe the CDM is just for, works with, the Windows version of Firefox.

Thanks. After looking around the web some more, it seems you are correct. From the same reading, it seems CDM is not available for OS X, either. Ah, well.
