Okay i have an HP DV8000 Laptop with an ATI RAEDEON EXPRESS graphics card. I believe i have the driver installed correctly but now how do i enable 3D acceleration?

In my opinion when the correct driver is installed the 3D is enabled automatic

You can of course check if it is enabled or not by opening Yast -> Hardware -> Graphics card and Monitor, and see if the check-box with ‘Activate 3D Acceleration’ is checked. If it is not and there is no way to do it (i.e. it is grey and inactive) then probably you do not have the correct drivers for your graphics card. If you have installed graphics card drivers from yast -> software management and your card supports 3D acceleration, then this should be automatically checked.
