Need restart SUSE to change WiFi connection

Hi,
I install 12.1 (KDE) to my old laptop (32bit) today. I incorrectly setup a WiFi connection with “Network Connection”. I found that I used the wrong local library access entry (Library Guest). I tried edit it, or delete it. All failed and displayed not enough privilege. It made me frustrating. This evening when I start SUSE again, it is easily delete the Library Guest connection with “Network Connection”. I guess that the restart SUSE is crucial to change a WiFi connection whether it is for my new SUSE installation or not. Is it a small bug?

BTW, “Network Connection” is the network manager? I once saw KNetworkManager in 11.3 while I cannot find it anymore in 12.1.

Thanks.

“Network Connections” is the title of the window you use for configuring. The actual application is plasmoid-networkmanagement which replaces KNetworkManager.

NetworkManager is a bit funky.

Best advice: Check the box “System connection”, and probably also the box “auto-connect”. With those two selected, it should connect automatically every time. If you don’t select “System Connection” you are likely to have problems.
