I couldn’t find a manual of KDE4. Does a full, detailed manual exist?

Novell’s documentation doesn’t answer my questions.

How do I make the panel (on the bottom) opaque?

Whan I try to change panel settings with

Right Click -> Panel Options ->
Panel Settings,

I get a popup menu with almost black background. How do I restore the original light gray background?

No. KDE4 is still under heavy development; so some options simply don’t exist.
