Need help to find a GRUB article?

Have I missed something or is there really no (defining and explaining) article in the “(main)” namespache of the new openSUSE wiki about GRUB (GRUBLegacy or GRUB2 or just in general)? Only "How-to-do"s and not one “What-is”?

this is an ideal candidate for answering in the wiki discussion forum
http://forums.opensuse.org/english/community/opensuse-wiki-discussions/
maybe a nice mod will move it there for you…

In your own system do

info grub

or use* info:grub i*n Konqueror’s location bar (better lay-out then above).

I think the introduction here is not a bad starter.

 Maybe the wiki subforum should be used for postings without any relations to other issues at all or for a better intergration of wiki and forums should be deleted at all?

perhaps i misread your post, but it seemed to me your purpose was to
learn where/how to find GRUB info in the wiki…

or, did i misunderstand?

or, was the hcvv’s

info grub

helpful?

if not, and since you are apparently not raising a how to search the
wiki question, maybe some of these will help:

P.S.: And I have also found that tiny, tiny wikipage
in the old wiki: GRUB - openSUSE
