Need help getting WMP54GS using ndiswrapper to get wireless

I’m currently using a WMP54GS. I have the bcmwl5 driver since it is a broadcom chipset. I have successfully installed it in my ndiswrapper in the past. When I type: nwdiswrapper -l, it says:

“bcmwl5 : driver installed
device (14E4:4318) present (alternate driver: bcm43xx)”

So yeah, it used to say something about that in the SuSE kNetworkManager; however, I remember playing with it a long time ago perhaps with ifup settings and I think I backed it up at eth-eth1.original. Now I can’t remove it to get my driver back on the kNetworkManager. I’ve read that it seems pretty worthless to use the kNetworkManager, but honestly I’m quite tired and I’m getting frustrated because I tried to get this work maybe 2 months ago with no luck. I can’t even remember where the ifup configuration files are so I can at least remove the eth1. Perhaps I want to fix my wireless with the ifup, but when I do iwconfig, i do not see my wireless card. I think it is because I switched the info in the ifup part. For some reason, when i tried to add/configure this connection in the past, it always showed as eth1 instead of wlan0 or something of the sort. I’m not sure if SuSE is confused and thinks this is an ethernet connection or what, but can someone please walk me through this? I have a WPA2 Personal key, and I can’t seem to make a new connection and simply putting the ndiswrapper bcmwl5 as the configuration file so I’m rather stumped. If you don’t mind, please try to help me and give me some simple instructions because I haven’t slept yet and it is 7:30 AM. Thank you very much!!!

OK, I fixed it… Sorry about that, I had to modprobe ndiswrapper and then re-add everything via the Network Manager. Right clicked on the network icon, selected “Connect to other networks” and then put my information again. It connected like a charm.

Great you found out. Even greater you took the effort to post about it as well.
