ndiswrapper

Hello all,

I am trying to install drivers for my NetGear WG511T in openSUSE,I have downloaded ndiswrapper from the install software application. Installed correctly presumably, I have entered a terminal and type ‘su’ than ndiswrapper, what command after this would I type and the steps from their to install these drivers??

Did you use the purpose built RPMs for ndiswrapper for Suse? Saves a lot of hassle. Anyway, to answer your question, the command is (in a root/su console):

ndiswrapper -i /path_to/driver.inf

where driver.inf is the windows driver. Then you check it with this:

ndiswrapper -l
