NAT connection lost after revival of saved state in vmware

With beta 5 running on my Intel mini in VMware Fusion, if I save the state of the virtual machine and then revive it, I lose the NAT network connection (which is sharing the connection from my Mac. No big deal if I could just reconnect it from the nm-applet in the tray, but the nm-applet also disappears, forcing me to restart the virtual machine to re-establish my connection. None of this happens with any of my other Linux vm’s, so it’s either a bug in this beta or the VMware Fusion tools aren’t ready for it yet. Is there any way to either avoid the problem or get the connection (and the nm-applet) back without a restart?
