Nameless/"invisible" network connections

Hi all. I’m new to OpenSUSE - I’ve primarily been a KDE neon user since they broke off from Kubuntu back in whenever that happened, just to let you know where my assumptions and misunderstandings are coming from.

The install went pretty well and everything is working fine, but I’ve noticed that regardless of whether I’m connecting to the internet via ethernet or via wifi, my KDE (Plama 6) desktop shows multiple network connections - the one I’m expecting and then one or more “empty” or “invisible” connections. Here’s a screenshot:

invisnetwork

(hopefully that worked)

Usually with the ethernet connection, there’s just the one “empty” connection. It doesn’t go away if I click disconnect. With Wifi there have been multiple iterations of these empty connections, and they will usually close if I click the disconnect button they will eventually be replaced by new ones. I have no idea what these are or why they’re there, or if I should be worried about them – though to be honest, seeing empty connections worries me, whether I should be worried or not.

Does anyone know what these are and why they exist? Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks for the reference! Also, it appears to have been resolved in the latest update.
