mystery file!

hi guy’s,
hoping you can throw some light on this one for me,a file apeared in my home file recently ( kqn3aq925l ) if i try to view it’s contents my desktop freezes
properties show as undetermined and it refuses all attempt’s to be deleted, any idea’s would be appreciated, thank’s:(

im running 11.4 celadon

Delete it as root with

sudo rm -f /path/to/the/file

im running 11.4 celadon

That’s an old OS! Why aren’t you using a current version? If you’re connected to the internet, you have a big security risk on your hands!

thank’s for reply deano,
ive tried that option but and the terminal is working at it for 40 min’s now and not completed!!!
but i cant get inside it to view how big it actualy is!
to answer your second question i installed 13.1 32bit and it’s far to slow…yes i do need a newer pc but im presently unemployed and cant afford it cheer’s

If you use ls -lh you can get the size of the file

openSUSE 11.4 is still supported by the Evergreen project until July. At least you should switch to Evergreen.

I have been using it on several really old computers. Might work for you.
