My Win10 is very slow.

Hi

My install of WinX is very slow and I would like to improve it’s performance please. OpenSuse won’t install on my iMac anymore, tried 20+ times and it fails, also on this machine.

Despite having a efi type it unfortunately only sees it as a BIOS based system and after an hour of net install Grub2 fails.

I did have a very nice Debian 8 on here, and it is on its HDD which I have removed.

So why can’t Suse install?

So without listing every piece of hardware, Suse has been installing on my machines since ver 6.0 and I have 13.2 on a laptop with half a gig of ram. Apart from video problems with 11.x this is the first time that Suse has consistently failed.

Any help on forcing an install alongside WinKs on a fresh 1 terabyte HDD, leaving winks alone on its own 80 gig drive?

Hi

Well a fraught few days.

Used Deb, Mint and a lot of bad language to clear things out and reformat my entire drive(s).

Installed / Reinstalled Win 10 lots of times, until yesterday when I got OpenSuse to sit alongside on a separate drive.

Today they are co-existing on the same HDD.

Actually installing OpenSuse 13.2 alongside WinX has seen an improvement in boot times.

So I am a happy chappy.
