My settings and how long before I get to change them?

How long do I have to belong to the forums before I can change my settings? I really would like to set my notifications to receive emails for replies to to my post, and set my avatar. Thanks

**AlienProber**, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:


  1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
  1. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

As far as I know you should be already able to do so.

But as you may know we had a move to another permises lately and that brought some changes.
I will try to investigate.

Somebody looked into it and thinks that it should work as intended.
He also switched your e-mail subscription on.

So please report back

  • if you now get e-mails for new posts in threads you are subscribed to;
  • if you can do other changes (like your avatar), when not please post a more detailed description on where you click, etc.

OK Will check the settings now and see what I can or can’t do. Please thank the one that turned on the email notifications for me.

Just tried and no luck.

Click settings in the upper right corner
click any of the following on the right side and get that message:
Edit Profile
Edit Profile Picture
Edit Avatar
General Settings

Can you logout of the Forum and log back in and see if that helps, you have to reach a certain post limit before things change…
