My PC does not recognize iPad

My PC: OpenSUSE Leap 15.3

iPad: generation 4, Air, iOS 15.3.1

when I connect iPad and PC by usb data line, there is no any response

But my iPhone can be recognized by PC through usb data line

Could anyone help

May need a reboot and also Ipad may need to allow sharing

How about liblist and ifuse, are those installed.

Take a look at KDE Connect IOS and ditch the USB cable. Currently it is only available via testflight but at least for me it works just fine and is blazing fast, I use it to drop files to the ipad and download pictures to my pc. You might have to adjust you firewall settings to allow it to connect to your network.
