# My Linux Box.

I am a complete layperson not a physicist. I have no formal
training basically beyond high school and unfortunately know no more
than basic math at this point, but I have made a few observations,
drawn some conclusions and come up with some theories.

Some things I have never heard anywhere else so I wanted to tell
others so they would know and I could possibly get some feedback on my
ideas.

You may think my ideas are good, bad, or right or wrong.

In any case among them are:

The laws of physics as they exist in this universe
function upon the only basis that is possible.

For anything to exist it must have a physical presence.

For anything to happen something must move.

There is only matter and energy and energy is simply matter moving.

Geometry is the shape and form of physical objects and the patterns they move in

This is not a dimension and there are no others. For it to exist it would have to be a physical manifestation in empty space.

There is no such thing as curved space. Space is nothing.
You can’t curve nothing.

There is no such thing as time as it is not a physical manifestation and also therefore cannot be matter in motion, therefore it does not exist.

Therefore there are no time warps or wormholes.

An object at rest stays at rest unless acted upon by and external force. An object in motion stays in motion at the speed it is going at and in the direction it is going in unless acted upon by an external force or it runs into something.

You don’t get sucked out into space you get blown.

Based on the same physical laws and geometry gravity cannot pull.

It must push.

Gravity appears to act on massive objects but not at random in empty space. It is therefore assumed that the Earth is responsible for ours.

The only explanation for that that I can think of is that particles are moving from the
Earth into space and perhaps due to the arrangements/structure of matter and/or patterns of motion causing relative positions to shift hits something and comes back down and pushes things onto the surface more strongly than it pushed them up when it left in some relationship I have not comprehensively determined the nature of.

That something would be dark matter. A pressure field from the big bang that we all live inside of that is still blowing all of the galaxies apart and is not only partly responsible for gravity but is also involved in causing solid matter to remain cohesive.

Ok, now they say the big bang didn’t happen. That kind of throws a monkey wrench into my theory, however gravity must push not pull.

I first wrote this a long time ago…

On a linux box.

@Scott_S:

• Or, Isaac Newton reincarnated?

One can’t believe everything that’s reported in the newspapers … >:)

Gravity is a complete myth… the Earth sucks!

I dono. Did those guys use Linux?

For sure they did not. No computers in their time.
I am just sure scientists who study the galaxies and gravity use linux;)

Unfortunately, Isaac Newton died 1¼ centuries before Babbage and Lovelace built their computing machine.
There were reports in the Intergalactic News that Douglas Adams was considering using Linux before he disappeared into a recursive Hypertext loop …

Actually not quite precise in case of Douglas Adams. Remember "Deep Thought? He might even have used Linux as he made it into 2001 before he sadly passed away much to soon. Although, IRRC in his time writers have rather been into Mac. But I think he would have supported the idea, and didn’t he foresee so many inventions (in 1978 already) as the widely used internet: “Sub-Etha”, the smartphone: “The Guide”, hardware or the “PET” in Starship Galactica, the “app” wikipedia: “The Guide”, software. lol!

As for gravity, not just the sperm whale or the bowl of petunias had to deal with it. Douglas even knew the “knack” how to fly: Just throw yourself to the ground - and miss it! rotfl!
But beware of Gravity glancing at you.

Sorry, can’t help being a fanboy.
