I’m running OpenSuse 10.3 on my New ASUS M2NMX SE-Plus, AMD Athelon 4800+ Dual-core Machine.
it has a dual-boot of windows xp and Opensuse 10.3, initially in WinXP I had installed my audio driver and that works, but after trying to install alsa drivers in opensuse 10.3 i had lost my PC’s Sound in both Operating System, it does appears only when i restart alsa by “rcalsasound restart” for a fraction of second and then it disappears.
This is probably a misconfiguration problem, so i decided to re-install the OpenSuse 10.3 today I Refresh’d my Machine and Currently it has a dual boot with following configuration, Please help as the sound is not restored in whole day operation.

I had also tried all Alsa-cofiguration models given in ALC662 documentation, but all in vain.

Please help me, as i have a doubt that my hardware is OK and the problem is in configuration, if you want me to reconfigure my Linux, then don’t worry, i am ready for that. you can also tell me any further commands and i will paste what happens. But please help me i need to finish it ASAP.
one more problem is in my PCTEL HSP56 Micromodem, it is detected by OpenSUSE 10.3, but i was unable to configure and use this device, this works well in WIndows XP but due to improper configuration it is not working i m sending some data about it too…

modem is not a big problem, but the sound is, so please help me in that first.
