My artwork for openSUSE 11.3

Hi everybody!
I decided to try to participate to openSUSE, so I made two wallpapers.
Here they are:
http://img541.imageshack.us/img541/1130/suse.th.jpg](http://img541.imageshack.us/i/suse.jpg/)
http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/5039/suse2.th.jpg](http://img404.imageshack.us/i/suse2.jpg/)

Does I have any chances that they would be in openSUSE11.3, or are they so lame and crappy to not even exists :stuck_out_tongue: ?
Please review these wallpapers if you have time!

Hi
The look nice  I would look here Portal:Artwork - openSUSE Wiki and
upload them to Pixel Pool.

You’ll generally find the included work at release is very streamlined. Possibly arguably the highest standard of the distros.

Not to discourage you but to highlight the standard needed to achieve. iirc this guy did the grand job with the last lot of theming (irrc the 11.2 theme author)](http://jimmac.musichall.cz/) you may find this page of help to Theming hints also whilst artwork and community usage you should be aware of the logo usage or at least take it into consideration found on wiki.

The next thing to address really not sure what you did to the svg but for example http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/5333/officiallogocolor.png
Now the reason that looks crisper is because I used svg(inkscape) tools to drop the shadow. Generally you want to work with the highest quality you can, and scale svg to the final scale before converting.

Then finally get some feedback from sites like this (A place for your creations)](http://suse-art.org/) host them there look at the popular ones etc…

Thanks malcolmlewis for liking my wallpapers  .
@FeatherMonkey: I totally forgot about svg.
Here are new ones with better quality (I will do them in 16:9 later):
http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/3415/suse1.th.jpg](http://img687.imageshack.us/i/suse1.jpg/)
http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/5039/suse2.th.jpg](http://img59.imageshack.us/i/suse2.jpg/)

I know that I’m not a pro artist, but these are my best;)

Sorry for double-post, but where is the Edit button?:sarcastic:

Anyway, here are my wallpapers in 1920X1200:
http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/4607/suse116.th.jpg](http://img688.imageshack.us/i/suse116.jpg/)
http://img693.imageshack.us/img693/697/suse216.th.jpg](http://img693.imageshack.us/i/suse216.jpg/)

And to everyone: I know that i have small chance that my wallpapers will be in 11.3. But i like playing with GIMP and i like openSUSE, so excuse me if I am spamming the forum :shame:

Yuo should use openSUSE font, FifthLeg.

Hehe I think you’re going to be told to get a blog soon

Another place you may like is deviantart. Wait till you find blender, one day I actually might make it happen rather than just getting the idea.

Another quick one though less suse specific for wallpapers isapophysis, well if you enjoy fractal flames, I suppose, runs really well in wine.

Hello, it’s only me again, sorry…

I have done what FeatherMonkey said - I made a blog for my images lol!
I will be posting there another wallpapers & stuff. Here is it:
miki100 - My Artwork

You will find here my old wallpapers and 2 new ones

And now a quick qestion: How do I create a new page in the openSUSE wiki :shame:? Because I would like to submit one or eventually more of them to Pixel Pool. I don’t know how to:
“Create a new page and link to it below. Use this template for an idea of what you need.”
Can anybody help?
