If you want to:
- write your e-mail from the terminal (with the following:
echo " my
text message " | mutt -s " Hello world! "
recipientsaddress@blablamail.com
after installing Mutt);
2. auto-complete e-mail addresses when pressing Tab;
3. don’t wait for firefox to load gmail.com;
then install the above combination 
There’s plenty of info on google about
configuring Mutt and Goobook. I had some issues at first, but I’ve managed
to make them work together. So I’m not snobbish to recommend this, but I
think it respects the KISS principle. Then…why not?
