It took over 3 hours to render the video, on my ryzen 5 16 gig ram. ( using all cores and all threads )

What amazed me most, is how responsive my pc stayed while this vid was rendering.

Depending on the encoding of the source material, I find it can take between ×1 and ×4 the length of the finished video to render something.

your first?

certainly way better than anything I could come up with! very well done! If you keep at it I’m sure you’ll get even better.

First with Blender, in my profession I worked with 3D cad software, and for fun I made maps for a video game.

This does help but also to some extent makes it harder, Blender has its own way of working, almost completely different from the software I am used too.

Blender can do amazing stuff though and is free and opensource.

Most cad programs are far from free. ( 6000 and up for a 3 years licence )

Because I have the red lights reacting to my music, I can for now only render for the duration of the music track.
That’s 6650 frames.

Music track is 4 min 30.

Seen great tutorials of Ducky 3D, and he makes endless loop vids, about only 250 frames.
But they don’t react to the music.
