Music compossing soft?

hi there i recently changed to open suse 11.0 from xp i used to work in
sibelius but now i can’t find any similar software

I think ‘rosegarden’ (http://www.rosegardenmusic.com/tour/notation/) and
‘lilypond’ (http://lilypond.org/) are what you’re after

You should also take a look at the musix linux distribution. It has loads of music related stuff and includes an -rt kernel.
