It says nothing delivers libopencore-amrnb.so.0 needed to install the above packages, this is generated by restricted formats one click install.
The same appears when i try to install Mplayer via yast and the same error occures when i try to install anything to do with multimedia, eg: (h264 codec for instance).

Does anyone has a sollution?
Opensuse was my distro of choice sinds 1992 but it isnt working like it should these days anymore, dont wont to switch to debian. (at least not for now!)

Greetings Hendrik.

I understand there is a issue with the 32 bit libs that are awaiting a fix

LOL i just installed the 64 bit version of 13.1 on a 32 bit system problem solved!

??? You did what?
How can you install the 64bit version on a 32bit system? That won’t work. The installation disk won’t even boot…
Or do you mean you replaced your 32bit openSUSE installation with a 64bit one (on a 64bit PC)?

Btw, the Packman 32bit issue is resolved since Friday. :wink:

Hi there i know it shouldnt be possible but;

it turns out the crappy celeron cpu i have in my acer aspire 5315, is a 64 bit cpu that is downgraded and sold as celeron, lolrotfl!.

AFAICS your Acer Aspire 5315 has a Intel Celeron M 530, which officially is a 64bit CPU:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-Aspire-5315-Hard-drive-Accelerator/dp/B000VPJDPM
ARK | Intel® Celeron® M Processor 530 (1M Cache, 1.73 GHz, 533 MHz FSB) Socket M (have a look at “Instruction Set” )

So it’s not really “downgraded”… :wink:

Yes your wright but ever try to install 64 bit windows on such a machine? wont work.
therefore i never tried 64 bit linux or bsd wich i learned will work.
