Multimedia Distribution

Hello

I currently run opensuse 11, but am looking for another (secondary) distribution oriented toward multimedia (especially synthesis and engineering of sound/music). Currently I have found:

  • ubuntu studio
  • 64 studio
  • JAD

I am leaning away from ubuntu studio (due to past experiences with ubuntu) and perhaps toward JAD (as it is based on suse, which I am very pleased with). Do you have any others or recommendations on these?

Since it is for audio stuff, you want a distro, you could look at Musix.
I would not suggest it though. Just giving an option.

Musix is alright, but the ones you already mentioned are better off.
