I think you might have accidently created a new thread instead of replying to the old one. But anyway it looks like there is something wrong with the packman repo ATM. Should be fixed soon. In the mean time what is the output of

zypper lr -d

In Konsole? Remember to post in Code tags using this guide - Posting in Code Tags - A Guide

Yes
64 bit packages are missing ATM

Don’t run this. Wait for it to be corrected.

To avoid package problems, the most important thing to do is to: NEVER ignore a dependency, even if YaST/zypper/updater gives you such an option! Change vendor is OK, like switching to Packman, but ignoring dependencies is never a very good idea. In general, never switch to an inferior inferior architecture and the solution is most often to just switch Vendor to Packman. Take a look at the following guide:

MultiMedia Checker or mmcheck - Check Your openSUSE MultiMedia Setup in Just 16 Steps

Thank You,

As an interim solution, I downloaded and installed libfaad2-2.7-1.pm.6.78.x86_64.rpm from the 11.3 factory repo. Mplayer is working.

In Packman, if you are prompted about inferior architecture, DO NOT install the recommendations!

The installation will replace your 64-bit files with 32-bit! Just wait until this problem is resolved.

Cheers!
