MTP Not working on KDE openSUSE 13.1 64-bit

I use Sony Xpria Geo and previously I could plug in my cell via USB cable and it detected fine even on GNOME. Could copy files to and from Nautilus and Dolphin. Now when I plugin nothing happens. I created a phone directory in my home and from CLI:

$mtpfs phone/
eyeoh@bottle:~> mtpfs phone/
Unable to open ~/.mtpz-data for reading, MTPZ disabled.Listing raw device(s)
Device 0 (VID=0fce and PID=017c) is UNKNOWN.
Please report this VID/PID and the device model to the libmtp development team
Found 1 device(s):
0fce:017c @ bus 2, dev 3
Attempting to connect device
Android device detected, assigning default bug flags
Listing File Information on Device with name: Sony Xperia™ neo L

Form Dolphin I can get to SD Card directory but not view the contents within it e.g. DCIM (saying I have no permission)

I already install kio-mtp, mtp-tools and simple-mtpfs but nothing seems to work.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I was having a similar problem, I could see the phone external sd card, but not the internal memory, I found that |(mtpfs - FUSE filesystem that supports MTP devices) was not installed on my box. Hope it helps.|

Hi Gerry,

mtpfs is installed on my system - still no game. Other than this niggling little bit (and some issues with adding remote printer - this has been around for ages) - so far openSUSE 13.1 has been truly awesome.

Thanks for your kind reply.

Cheers from sunny Malaysia! lol!
