Would like to have the mechanical keyboard and its location at the front of the laptop’s deck as on the MSI GT Titian gamer laptops. However, MSI says they don’t test or certify for Linux. Anybody ever make the GT80 SLI, for example, work with openSuse?
You would need the proprietary NVIDIA driver to make SLI work I believe. Which chips? 980M?? I assume it also has a Intel GPU on the CPU chip and there for maybe a Optimus configuration. If possible turn the Intel off in the UEFI/BIOS.
Yes those NVIDIA will suck the battery dry but then that is the cost for infinite power
