This post might belong in chit-chat, but here goes.
I need a cheap little webcam to chat with relatives. They are not too demanding about picture quality. I am using an old ibmcam that works with (and only with) aMSN. I have a slightly newer cam that is recognized but works with no app.
I was thinking about the MS Lifecams that I see online: the 1000, 3000 and 6000. Anyone have any experience with them and care to make a comment? Actually, I’m most interested in whether they work with suse 11.1 or 11.2
