I have a openSUSE 11.1 gnome installed.
I want to install MS fonts and I installed it.
the thing is the Courier New font is not getting display properly.
pls help.>:(

Have you copied the fonts to your home directory or the system
directory (/usr/share/fonts/truetype/).
If the system directory you need to run fonts-config. If in your user
directory run fc-cache.
Have you set the correct dpi in control center -> look and feel ->
appearance fonts tab and press details. To determine the resolution dpi
usxdpyinfo |grep resole the command;
xdpyinfo |grep resol
You may also need to experiment with font sizes as well.
