MPlayer problem, 10.3

I have just done a clean install of 10.1 and upgrade to 10.3. Now, MPlayer doesn’t work - it did under 10.1.

Following RedDwarf’s excellent post…

1,

LC… etc. Gave huge amount of output but no indication of any dependency problems.

dvdcss from VideoLAN is installed but not via rpm.

I wonder why some of them point to Vendor (none)? Also, at the risk of sounding
churlish, I am less than impressed with the “one click install” business. Despite
giving no errors and no dependency warnings, when I ran the avbove command the first
time, I discovered (eg) gstreamer-0_10-plugins-bad-0.10.10-42.pm.1-i586 not installed. When I tried
to install the rpm myself, it threw up several dependency failures.
