mpi un-installing

Hi,

I have installed openmpi-1.3.3, but it seems that mpicc does not wrok.

I have checked it with ‘helloworld’ test as well, but still I receive the message that mpicc doesnot work.

I have used ‘su’ to install openmpi, now I want to remove it. Please kindly let me know how I can uninstall it.

How and from where did you install that package?

  • If installed via YaST, go to Software management, find the package and
    select it for removing (check for any dependency first).

  • If you compiled the package your self, just follow the instructions
    provided by the package (README file).
