Mozilla Firefox/Seamonkey unstable!

Hi!
I’m using openSUSE 11.2, x64, KDE.
I can’t open Firefox or Seamonkey! When I open, it closes.
I barely can use it.

Any clues?

Type firefox from the command line and see if it pukes out any errors or messages when it starts or closes.

Yes!

*** NSPlugin Viewer *** ERROR: /usr/lib/browser-plugins/nphelix.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

just it

Uninstall gecko-mediaplayer or if you need it, use the one from RedDwarf
Info on that here
Multi-media and Restricted Format Installation Guide - openSUSE Forums

(Currently in 11.2 RC2 when gecko-mediaplayer is installed a bug crashes Firefox. If this happens, just remove gecko-mediaplayer)

gecko-mediaplayer (several users (RedDwarf) package a newer version of this which may provide added compatibility.)
Index of /repositories/home:/RedDwarf/openSUSE_11.2

Use versions tab in software management to select it from RedDwarf’s repo

uninstalled it ^^
It’s working now. Thanks!

No problem, happy to help;)
