I have opensuse 11.1, I am able to play cascaded videos but not full screen streaming videos off of sites such as youtube. I have flash installed and I am using mplayer codecs, how can I fix this problem?
What do you mean it won’t play fullscreen videos? When you hit to go fullscreen does it just not do anything or what? Are these normal quality videos or the HD videos?
Take Care,
Ian
the window just turns white and nothing plays. And no these are not hd vids
Have you tried reinstalling flash in Yast? If that doesn’t work, uninstall flash and try installing the .rpm from here:
Use the drop down menu and choose .rpm for Linux
Take Care,
Ian
currently i have flash 10.0 r32 that I want to remove but for some reason I cannot find it in the YAST or the plugins folder
could you please open up a terminal and provide the output of
rpm -qa --last "*flash*"
How did you get flash? Did you compile it by source or did you get it through an update of openSUSE?
Try opening up Yast then clicking Software Management. When it comes up search for flash.
Take Care,
Ian
