Move forward by VLC

Since Chrismas around, If VLC moves forward some of mp4 videos with arrow or mouse cursor, it exits imediately, but if played by Firefox then everything is fine, is it the issue with Videoland or openSUSE or Packman? Anybody know this problem?

Are you using the “packman” vlc - no issues with packman vlc and 15.4.
Nothing works right with vlc from openSUSE libraries.

As larryr indicates, it is not clear what you use. Please show (as root)

zypper se -si vlc
