Mouse/trackpad settings crashes gnome settings app on fresh install

On a fresh install of tumbleweed, when I open the gnome settings app, if I navigate to the mouse/trackpad window, the app will be unresponsive for a few seconds then crash. I have tried this both on my AMD framework laptop 13 as well as my desktop with a ryzen 9 7950X and RX 7900XT GPU, so this doesn’t seem specific to a particular machine. The log output indicated a core dump. I can post the log output once I am back at my desktop running opensuse tumbleweed.

You should open bug report and post this information there. But keep in mind that to provide useful information you need to have at least debug packages for the application and all libraries involved in this crash.

Thanks. What should I install? It’s just the built-in gnome settings app, so I would imagine all relevant libraries are pre-installed.

But not the debug information. The corresponding repositories are disabled by default assuming they are present at all. For Tumbleweed it would be https://download.opensuse.org/debug/tumbleweed/repo/oss/

Usually when you run gdb on a core dump it prints the list of packages you need to install to show the meaningful stack trace. You could try to open bug report anyway and provide whatever information you have.
