mouse text console

Hi,
Whats a good driver to play FPS games like Half-life?

Im currently running Microsoft intelli mouse 3 button wheel COM1

Just a suggestion.
Assuming that those games run in graphical mode, under X, whatever mouse
you configure for text console in YaST is ignored for graphical mode.

Manual configuration is done, I believe, at
“/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/11-mouse.conf”.

Yes.

There are two separate mouse configs in openSUSE. The one done by the YaST, “mouse on text console”
is only used by the gpm daemon in text mode. Are you using a game in text mode? I doubt it.

The other mouse setup applies to graphical mode, completely separated from the other one. X
configures itself automatically, but the manual config file is the one I told you.

That is what I know. How to configure a gamer mouse on Linux, I don’t know.
